DUSHANBE, February 2, Asia-Plus -- Provision of assistance of the avalanche-affected population of the Tojik Mahalla village in Jirgatol District is ongoing, according to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).
The MES source says that currently they are considering the issue of housing the avalanche victims.
We will recall that avalanche killed 18 people and destroyed seven houses in the Tojik Mahalla village.
In the meantime, avalanches hit two other villages in Jirgatol – Yarmazor and Kushai. “Five houses were completely destroyed in Yarmazor and four houses were completely destroyed in the Kushai village. Fortunately, no injured was reported this time,” the MES source said.
