DUSHANBE, April 6, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Drunken Kazakh ambassador has caused a car crash in Dushanbe.
According to the Dushanbe police directorate, three children, including two babies, were injured on Saturday as Kazakh Ambassador to Tajikistan Abutalip Akhmetov crashed his official car (number plate D012001) into Tajik national’s car in Dushanbe.
The accident took place at around 5:30 p.m. on the Roudaki Avenue. “Three vehicles were involved in the crash, when drunken Kazakh diplomat went into oncoming traffic. He crashed his official Land Cruiser Prado into Toyota Corolla of Ms. Sitora Sayfiyeva and then into Chevrolet of Ms. Zulaykho Nozimova,” said the source. “Three children, including 15-year-old Muminjon Ilhomzoda, 2-year-old Oryo Anvarzoda and some three-month-old Khoushnoud Anvarzoda, who were in Toyota Corolla, sustained varies injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
