DUSHANBE, January 7, 2016, Asia-Plus – Five people have been killed in two separate traffic accidents in Dushanbe.
According to the Interior Ministry Traffic Police Directorate, four people were killed on January 6 as two vehicles collided in Dushanbe.
The accident reportedly took place at the Hofiz Sherozi Street. Hyundai driven by resident of Sughd’s Bobojonghafourov collided with Hubei driven by resident of the same district. As a result of the collision, the driver of Hyundai and his three passengers, who were also residents of the Bobojonghafourov district, died on the spot.
On the same day, a heavy garbage truck driven by resident of the Varzob district hit a 57-year-old woman in Dushanbe. The accident took place at the Roudaki Avenue. The woman died on the way to hospital, the source said.
