Torrential rain on November 9 caused a number of mudflows in Panj district of Khatlon province, according to the Emergencies Committee under the Government of Tajikistan.
Ms. Umeda Yusufi, a spokeswoman for the Emergencies Committee, says the mudflows have affected several villages in the district.

Thus, a mudflow damaged six residential buildings and seventy-four personal plots in Namouna village.
Mudslides in Pakhtakor village reportedly damaged twenty-one personal plots and three auxiliary facilities.

In Otchapor village, a mudflow reportedly flooded basements of 12 residential buildings.
No injured was reported, according the emergencies Committee spokesperson.
