QURGHON TEPPA, January 23, Asia-Plus -- Khatlon Prosecutor, Foziljon Okhunov, speaking to journalists noted that inspections carried out by local prosecutors last year revealed some US$200,000 (654,037 Somonis) worth of damage caused to the region’s economy.
According to him, criminal proceedings were instituted under 51 charges and 37 cases already moved to courts. He also added that preliminary investigations had helped refund damages of 64,554 Somonis and cases for refunding damages of a total of 87,383 Somonis had moved to courts. The trials helped refund 76,514 Somonis.
