DUSHANBE, July 17, Asia-Plus – Itar Tass – Moscow drug police have arrested members of criminal group that was engaged in smuggling heroin into the Russian capital by train Dushanbe-Moscow, Russia’s news agency Itar Tass quoted Viktor Khvorostyan, the head of the Moscow directorate of Russia Federal Drug Control Service (FSKN).
According to Khvorostyan, the drug traffickers were transporting heroin to Moscow once a month.
“The Moscow drug police have kept with this group since February, and two citizens of Tajikistan and one resident of Moscow were arrested in June,” the Moscow drug police chief said, noting that among the detainees is director of the dining-car of the Dushanbe-Moscow train.
