QUGHON TEPPA, March 19, Asia-Plus -- A regional prosecutor’s office in Khatlon has completed investigation into case of Usar Doustmuroov, the head of the farming unit Khiromon in Khatlon’s Vaksh district and the case has moved to courts, Bahrom Shomirov, an investigator at the Khatlon prosecutor’s office said.
According to him, Doustmurodov is charged with illegally allotting farmland for housing. “He allotted plots for housing to five local residents for totaling 8,247 somonis and misappropriated these funds,” the prosecutor said.
Criminal proceedings were instituted against Doustmurodov on February 14, 2008. He faces charges of fraud and polygamy.
