DUSHANBE, May 5, Asia-Plus -- The Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption has instituted criminal proceedings against Ms. Qumrinisso Davronova, a lecturer with Khujand University of Law, Business and Politics, who faces charge of fraud.
A source at the anticorruption agency said that Ms. Davronova is suspected of having taken $1,750 from five students at the mentioned university for transferring them to the Khujand Branch of Tajik Economic Institute (formerly Tajik Tax and Law Institute).
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Davronova under provision of Article 247 of Tajikistan’s Criminal Penal – fraud.
