DUSHANBE, June 12, Asia-Plus - A three-day seminar for officers from the Drug Control Agency (DCA) on preventing corruption started at the DCA head office in Dushanbe on June 11.
The seminar, staged by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) CO Tajikistan, is conducted by the UNODC project coordinator Aide Raudonien (phonetically spelled) and Hakim Umarov, associate professor at Tajik Academy of Ministry of Interior (MoI).
The main objective of the training is to raise awareness level of counternarcotics officers and instruct them in ways of preventing corruption and working out legal documents on that subject, the DCA source said.
