DUSHANBE, September 4, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Alijon Yuldoshev, an expert with the Khatlon regional forensic medicine center, has been detained on suspicion of having taken bribe.
According to the Agency for the State Financial Control and Combating Corruption, Yuldoshev was caught red-handed on September 3, when he was taking 600 somonis from local resident for preparing medical report in favor of him.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Yuldoshev under the provisions of Article 319 of Tajikistan’s Criminal Code – bribe taking, and an investigation is under way.
