KHUJAND, October 20, 2008, Asia-plus -- 71 corruption-related criminal proceedings have been instituted in the northern Sughd province over the first nine months of this year and 40 criminal cases have already moved to courts, according to the Sughd regional prosecutor’s office.
During investigation into the mentioned corruption-related cases, 86,45 somoni worth of damage caused to the state has been repaid, the source at the regional prosecutor’s office said.
