KULOB, October 28, 2008, Asia-Plus -- Prosecutor’s office in Khatlon’s Vose district is currently investigating into brutal killing committed by two local teenagers on September 26.
Speaking to reporters on October 28, the Vose prosecutor Hokimsho Sulaymonov said that two 17-year-old teens Shodmon Sharifzod and Aziz Nourali had been detained on suspicion of having killed a 13-year-old Rahmonali Nourali.
“The teens confessed to killing the boy, noting that they sacrificed him,” said the prosecutor, “However, they found it difficult to say to what idol they sacrificed him.”
According to him, the body of Rahmonali Nourali was found on the salt hill Khoja Mumin in the district on October 13.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Sharifzod and Nourali under the provisions of Article 104 of Tajikistan’s Penal Code.
