KHUJAND, September 1, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Officers from the Sughd customs service have seized 10,235 liters of smuggled gasoline in the Bobojonghafurov district.
According to the Sughd customs service, their officers sized the smuggled gasoline in the Qistaquz jamoat on August 31. “The Bobojonghafurov resident Ghufron Murodov illegally delivered gasoline from Kyrgyzstan,” the source said.
Legal proceedings have been instituted against Murodov under the provisions of Article 577 of Tajikistan’s Administrative Code and he has paid a 5,000 somoni fine.
