The Military Collegiums of the Tajik Supreme Court has finished a trial against two Tajik border guards.
Both were found guilty of illegal drug trafficking.
Lieutenant Najibullo Nosirov and Warrant Officer Dilovar Damatov, both 22 years of age, were accused under Article 200 part 4 (Illegal drug trafficking with the purpose of further sale) of the Criminal Code of Tajikistan, Tajik Interior Ministry told the AP citing materials of criminal proceedings as source.
The two were arrested on 31st of January this year by Tajik Drug Control Service with a huge shipment of hashish.
“The court sentenced Nosirov and Damatov to 14 years in high security prison with confiscation of property,” the source added.
