DUSHANBE, June 16, 2014, Asia-Plus -- The office of the INTERPOL National Central Bureau (NCB) for Russia in Khakasiya and Russia’s Federal Penitentiary Service have revealed that inmate of one of penal colonies in Khakasiya is serving his jail term under the assumed name, according to the website of the Russian Interior Ministry’s office in Khakasiya.
Inspection of penal colonies in Khakasiya has reportedly revealed that Tajik national is serving his jail term in Khakasiya for robbery under the assumed name.
He is reportedly internationally wanted by Tajik law enforcement authorities for organization of a criminal grouping. On completion of his jail term, the inmate will be extradited to Tajikistan, the website said.
To-date, 147 people have been put on the wanted list of INTERPOL for committing various crimes at the request of Tajik law enforcement authorities. Besides, 68 Tajik missing citizens have been put on the INTERPOL wanted list.
