DUSHANBE, July 27, 2015, Asia-Plus -- The Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption has reportedly revealed 100 corrupt-related crimes in the country’s banking sector over the first half of this year.
According to the anticorruption agency press center, three employees of prosecutor’s offices, 37 officers of the interior ministry, 11 officers of the ministry of defense, five officers of the state committee for national security, three officers of the counternarcotics agency, five employees of the council of justice, 26 employees of the ministry of justice, 53 employees of the ministry of education and science, 45 employees of the ministry of health and social protection, 26 employees of the ministry of agriculture, six employees of the ministry of transport, six employees of the ministry of energy and water resources, 18 employees of the ministry of labor, 18 employees of the ministry of industry and new technologies, 22 employees of the state committee on land management, 2 employees of the committee for TV and radio-broadcasting, one employee of the committee for emergency situations and 18 tax officers have been detained over the first six months on suspicion of corruption.
Besides, more than 100 officials of local authorities have been detained over the report period on suspicion of corruption, the source said.
