DUSHANBE, January 19, 2016, Asia-Plus – A large amount of hashish has been confiscated from a 52-year-old woman from the Roudaki district.
The Interior Ministry’s website reports a 52-year-old woman from the Roudaki district was detained on January 16 on suspicion of drug pushing. A package of narcotic drug that tested positive to hashish weighing 390 grams was confiscated from her.
While searching her home, police officers reportedly found 1.446 kilograms of hashish.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted against the alleged drug peddler and an investigation is under way.
