DUSHANBE, February 2, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Speaker of lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament, Shukurjon Zuhurov, has sharply criticized negligent work of parliamentarians on preparing amendments to a number of country’s laws.
His criticism, directed at members of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on Budget and Finance, came during an address to a regular sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation on February 2.
During the discussion of the bill requiring amendments to the law “On State Support for Entrepreneurship in Tajikistan” authored by MPs Lutfullo Saidmurodov, Mirgand Shabozov and Marhabo Jabborova, the speaker, in particular, noted that some aspects of the draft law did not meet the lawmaking rules and norms of the modern Tajik language.
Upon the recommendation of the speaker, the bill was returned as requiring improvement.
Amendments proposed to the law on state support for entrepreneurship provide for public rewards for private entrepreneurs.
