DUSHANBE, March 30, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister, Nizomiddin Zohidov, yesterday met here with Mr. Miroslav Jenca, Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General (SRSG) also Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), according to the Tajik MFA information department.
In the course of the talks, the two discussed a broad range of issues related to cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Nations in providing regional security, combating terrorism and the financing of terrorism as well addressing terrorist acts.
Zohidov and Jenca also considered regional cooperation with participation of Afghanistan, the source said.
