DUSHANBE, May 5, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) Shukurjon Zuhurov yesterday met here with Mr. Rodolfo Jose Martin-Saravia, newly appointed Ambassador of Argentina to Tajikistan (with residence in Islamabad, Pakistan).
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says Zuhurov congratulated Rodolfo J. Martin-Saravia on his appointment as Ambassador of Argentina to Tajikistan and noted that Tajik MPs were ready to set up the Tajikistan/Argentina Parliamentary Friendship Group.
Argentine diplomat, for his part, noted that his country was ready to support enhancement of the livestock sector in Tajikistan.
Tajik parliament speaker was invited to pay an official visit to Argentina in the months to come, Sultonov said.
