DUSHANBE, August 30, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Three cooperation documents are expected to be signed in Dushanbe during Russian President Dmitry Medvedev’s official visit scheduled for early September.
A well-informed source in the Tajik government says the sides will sign the following documents: a joint statement by the presidents of Tajikistan and Russia; agreement on border cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia; and a program for trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia designed for 2012-2015.
According to the Tajik MFA information department, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will pay an official visit to Tajikistan from September1 to September 2.
During his stay in Dushanbe, Medvedev will also attend a quadripartite meeting of the presidents of Tajikistan. Afghanistan, Pakistan and Russia that will take place here on September 2-3.
The Russian head of state will also take part in a meeting of the Council of the CIS Heads of State in the Tajik capital.
