DUSHANBE, September 13, 2011, Asia-Plus -- Outgoing Turkmen Ambassador to Tajikistan Nokerguly Atagulyev conferred here Tuesday with Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi at the end of his tenure to Tajikistan, the Tajik MFA information department reports.
In the course of the talks, the two reportedly exchanged views on state and prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
Zarifi expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and expressed gratitude to Turkmen diplomat for his fruitful work that had promoted strengthening of bilateral interaction between Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
Atagulyev, for his part, appreciated Zarifi’s thorough support for his activity and pointed to the necessity of further expansion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Tajikistan.
