DUSHANBE, May 17, 2013, Asia-Plus -- After an official visit to Thailand, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will pay a state visit to China, the Tajik president’s official website reports.
President Rahmon is scheduled to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Zhang Dejiang, First-ranked Vice-Premier Zhang Gaoli, Chairman of the Board of Governors of the China Development Bank (CDB) Hu Huaibang, Chairman and President of the Exim Bank of China Li Ruogu and Governor of Central China’s Henan Province Xie Fuzhan.
More than ten cooperation documents are expected to be signed during Rahmon’s state visit to China. Among them are a join statement on strategic partnership and cooperation agreements in the fields of energy, science, agriculture, banking, tourism and investment.
Meanwhile, Chin’s news agency, Xinhua, reports Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will pay a state visit to China from May 19 to 20 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
