KHUJAND, February 18, 2014, Asia-Plus -- 160 new enterprises are expected to be introduced into operation in Sughd province this year.
According to the Sughd regional administration, these enterprises will create 5,000 new jobs.
Meanwhile, 150 new enterprises that were introduced into operation in the area last year reportedly created 3,300 new jobs.
In all, 324 industrial enterprises now operate in Sughd province and they produced a total of more than 3.9 billion somoni worth of goods last year, the source said.
