Tajik President has started an official visit to the Czech Republic today.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, it is a return visit at the invitation of Czech President Milos Zeman.
Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Aslov, Presidential Adviser for International Ties Azamsho Sharifi, Prosecutor-General Yusuf Rahmon, Minister of Industry and New Technologies Shavkat Bobozoda, Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property Management Qodir Qosim and some other officials are accompanying President Rahmon on his trip to the Czech Republic.
Czech news agency Prague Monitor reports the President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman is receiving Emomali Rahmon today.
The visit is expected to result in signing of a number of cooperation documents.
Recall, the President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman paid an official three-day visit to Tajikistan in November 2014.
Negotiations between Tajik and Czech government delegations that took place in Dushanbe on November 26, 2014 resulted in signing of three cooperation document.
Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and his Czech counterpart Milos Zeman signed a joint communiqué.
Besides, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries signed a cooperation protocol and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of public health and medical science.
Speaking at a joint conference, Rahmon and Zeman vowed to boost Tajik-Czech cooperation. Milos Zeman invited Emomali Rahmon to pay an official visit to the Czech Republic.
