In a statement delivered at the High Level Conference to mark the adoption of the new EU Strategy for Central Asia - Connectivity for sustainable development in Bucharest, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin drew attention of the European Union (EU) countries to energy resources of Central Asia’s nations.  

Tajik minister, in particular, pointed to the necessity of continuation of mutually beneficial cooperation between the countries of the Central Asian region and the European Union for the purpose of further development of the Central Asian transportation, agricultural and energy potential as well as improvement of investment climate and providing sustainable development of the region, according to Tajik MFA information department.  

The Conference was organized by Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with European External Action Service.
