The state and prospects of the entire complex of Tajik-Uzbek relations were discussed by the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov on September 29
Emomali Rahmon expressed confidence that the results of the work of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, whose meeting was also held yesterday in Dushanbe, will certainly contribute to further strengthening the interaction of the partiesн.
He also noted that the meetings that took place in recent days speak of increasing interaction.
In particular: the representative delegation of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan in Dushanbe met with Tajik parliamentarians, a joint scientific and practical conference was held, representatives of the creative intelligentsia of the two countries met in Dushanbe, the delegation of Uzbekistan took part in the celebration of the 5500th anniversary of the ancient city of Sarazm.
In addition, a school built by the Uzbek side was opened in the Spitamen district, and the work of the joint Tajik-Uzbek enterprise “Artel Avesto Electronics” was launched.
