Despite the protocol signed by Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan on the settlement of the situation on the border, the Tajik side recorded a number of provocative actions of the Kyrgyz side, which increase tension on the border, the Tajik Foreign Ministry says.
«The Kyrgyz side creates a false appearance of withdrawal of troops and heavy military equipment from the line of contact and hides them in the border settlements of the Laylak and Chon-Alai districts of the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan, - noted in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
- On September 18, camouflaged heavy military equipment was seen consisting of four units - armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers and 22mm memory units of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan near the Tajik border post Sarkhadchi in the Lakhsh district of Tajikistan.
- On September 19, in the immediate vicinity of the settlement of Lokhuti, the city of Kanibadam, Tajikistan, the location of sheltered military equipment of the Armed Forces of Kyrgyzstan in the amount of 12 units was revealed.
- On September 19, in a small distance from the border post No. 3 Nurobod in the Devashtich district of Tajikistan, the presence of special forces of Kyrgyzstan numbering 70 armed persons was established.
The Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan states that the Tajik side continues to record numerous violations of the airspace of the Republic of Tajikistan by UAVs flying from the territory of Kyrgyzstan.
"So, on September 19 and 20, Kyrgyz UAVs were observed flying over the city of Isfara, the districts of Devashtich, Bobojon Gafurov, Jabbor Rasulov and Rasht of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Tajik frontier posts of Sarkhadchi and Shirinchashma in the Lakhsh district, Rosrovut and Muryak in the Devashtich district, as well as over military units of the Ministry of Defense Republic of Tajikistan", - noted in the message.
Tajikistan once again calls on the Kyrgyz side to strictly implement the signed protocols on the normalization of the situation in the border area.
"Otherwise, the Tajik side will regard the situation as preparation for another aggression of Kyrgyzstan. Responsibility for the consequences of such provocative actions will lie with the Kyrgyz side", - noted in the message.
