On September 27, Tajik Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in Washington.
«The parties discussed the current situation in Afghanistan and noted the need to strengthen cooperation in the fight against modern challenges and threats, including terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking», - reports the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
Also, according to the agency, an exchange of views took place on important regional and global issues.
«The importance of the “C5+1” format platform for the region and the current situation on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border were discussed», - the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
