DUSHANBE, January 9, Asia-Plus --The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered amendments made to six laws at a January 8 meeting presided over by its speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev.
According to the Majlisi Namoyandagon press service, the board considered amendments made to the laws on securing, serving and protecting the president, on the armed forces, on the fight against extremism, on the emergency services and legal status of rescuers, on the state social insurance, and the state forensic examination.
The board also discussed addition made to the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the construction of a dam of the Sangtuda-2 power plant.
Some of these issues will be considered at the regular sitting of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation on January 10.
