DUSHANBE, February 7, Asia-Plus -- Tajik MPs have endorsed a bill requiring adoption of a code on administrative procedures.
A regular sitting of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) of the third convocation presided over by its chairman, Saydullo Khairulloyev, was held on February 7.
Tojiddin Turayev, member of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on Constitution and human Rights, presenting the bill noted that the code on administrative procedures “concerns issues that are not provided for by other laws and procedural codes.” As an example, he termed a procedure of exchange of information between various bodies.
Dwelling on the procedural issues concerning consideration of applications lodged by citizens, Turayev said that the administrative procedures code provides for norms preventing red-tape management. “Besides Tajikistan, only two other CIS states have to date adopted the code on administrative procedures,” Tajik MP noted.
The session also considered a bill requiring amendments to the RT Law “On Labor”.
