DUSHANBE, February 19, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill requiring a legal regulation of issues related to organ transplantation at a February 19 meeting presided over by first deputy Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Abdulmajid Dostiyev.
The draft law “On Organ Transplantation” consisting of five chapters and 20 articles has been prepared by Jumaboy Sanginov, member of the Majlisi Namoyandagon Committee on Social Matters, Family, Healthcare and Environmental Protection.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that during the meeting it was noted that at present some 5,000 people in Tajikistan need hemosrption (special purification of blood).
The board also discussed a bill on procedural code for economic courts.
