DUSHANBE, November 29, Asia-Plus  -- The 12th session of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis) will be convened on December 27.   

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that the legislature members will hear report by the capital mayor about Dushanbe’s economic results in 2007, draft city budget for 2008 and tasks of the Dushanbe authorities for the next year. 

The session is also expected to confirm report on administration of the 2006 budget.   

The Dushanbe prosecutor will report on a progress of implementation of laws in the territory of Dushanbe, the spokesman said.
