DUSHANBE, April 3, Asia-Plus  -- President Emomali Rahmon had telephone conversation with the GBAO governor Qodir Qosim today morning to hear report on state of education and health sectors, a progress of settlements improvement work, use of funds provided from the republican sources, presidential press service said.  

In the course of the conversation, the head of state set specific tasks on removing existing shortcomings and intensifying work in all sectors of the region’s economy.  

Rahmon, in particular, noted that enough funds had been provided from republican sources, presidential reserve funds and within the framework of investment projects for settlements improvement work, rehabilitation of educational, medical and cultural facilities in the region and “targeted use of these funds should be under unceasing control.”
