DUSHANBE, June 5, Asia-Plus  -- The board (Shuro) of the upper house (Majlisi Milli) of parliament (Majlisi Oli) has considered 28 laws adopted by the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) and submitted them for consideration to the 15th session of the Majlisi Milli that opened in Dushanbe today.   

Among them are laws on legal status of military personnel, police, military personnel pensions and retirement income security, system of execution of criminal penalties, etc.   

Besides, the upper house is also considering issues related to renaming more than 90 settlements in the Roudaki district, establishing two jamoats in Jirgatol and Hissor districts, the next Tajik-Russian parliamentary forum, international conference of female MPs and ministers that will be held in Dushanbe this year.
