DUSHANBE, June 26, 2008, Asia-Plus -- The main celebrations to mark the National Unity Day will be held in Qurghon Teppa, the capital of Khatlon province on June 27.
According to presidential press service, President Emomali Rahmon will attend the celebrations in Qurghon Teppa.
We will recall that the Tajik National Peace Accord, ending a civil war that killed as many as 100,000 people and ravaged Tajikistan''s infrastructure, was signed by the government and the former United Tajik Opposition (UTO) in Moscow on June 27, 1997.
