DUSHANBE, July 3, 2008, Asia-Plus  -- The 14th session of the Dushanbe city legislature (Majlis) will be held on July 14.

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that the session aims to consider a progress of adequate preparations for the winter

The session will hear reports of deputy mayors, heads of relevant municipal services and heads of Dushanbe’s districts on Dushanbe’s economic results in the first half-year of 2008 and the results of work carried out to ensure regular work of the city’s economy in autumn-winter 2008-2009.   

The legislature members will also consider and approve resolutions having been passed by the mayor since the previous session that was held on April 13, the spokesman said.
