DUSHAHNBE, July 23, Asia-Plus -- In 2010, celebrations to mark a National Unity Day will be held in Khorog, Gorno Badakhshan, President Emomali Rahmon remarked in an address to a ceremonial meeting that was held in Dushanbe yesterday on occasion of State Language Day, according to presidential press service.
Reminding that the celebrations are held every year in different regions of the country, the president noted that this promotes strengthening of many-sided relations between residents of different regions of the country and improvement of cities and districts.
It is expected that in the coming two years a new impulse will be given for further development of settlements in Gorno Badakhshan within the framework of preparations for the National Unity Day and implementation of the GBAO socioeconomic development support program, presidential press service said.
