DUSHANBE, March 26, 2009, Asia-Plus  -- President Emomali Rahmon heading a high-ranking delegation has departed for Mongolia today morning on an official two-day visit.

According to the MFA information department, Economic Development and Trade Minister Ghulomjon Bobozoda, Agriculture Minister Qosim Qosimov, Chairman of the State Committee for Investments and State-owned Property Management Farrukh Hamraliyev, as well as State Adviser to the President for International Matters Erkin Rahmatulloyev and Deputy Foreign Minister Abdullo Yuldoshev are accompanying Rahmon on his visit to Mongolia.

Today, President Rahmon is scheduled to hold talks with his Mongolian counterpart, President Nambaryn Enkhbayar.  Their talks will be followed by negotiations between the government delegations of the two countries, the MFA spokesman Davlat Nazriyev said.  The negotiations are expected to result in signing of a number cooperation agreements.

On Friday, Rahmon will hold talks with deputy chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament of Mongolia) and the first deputy prime minister of Mongolia on Friday, the MFA spokesman said.

The same day, Emomali Rahmon will return to Dushanbe.
