DUSHANBE, May 18, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The 19th session of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) of the third convocation seconded ten laws on May 18.
Among them are laws on census, higher and post-diploma vocational education, time-and-cost valuation rating, subsistence wage, banking activity, state social standards, labor protection, medical and social assistance to diabetics.
The members of the Majlisi Milli also endorsed the resolution on renaming 19 settlements in Tajikistan.
