DUSHANBE, June 18, 2009, Asia-Plus -- Practical realization of the results of Tajik leader’s visit to the Russian city of Yekaterinburg was the focus of a meeting of President Emomali Rahmon with government officials that was held in Dushanbe on June 17.
According to presidential press service, senior representatives from president’s office and a number of ministries and organizations attended the meeting.
The meeting also discussed issues related to implementation of the budget, collection of taxes and duties, as well as nationwide switch to energy-saving light bulbs, collection of funds for gas and electricity consumption, and the pace of harvesting campaign in the country.
Speaking at the meeting, President Rahmon ordered to prepare an action plan on practical realization of the results of his recent visit to the Russian Federation.
He also charged relevant ministries and organizations to provide assistance to farmers with carrying out harvesting campaign.
