DUSHANBE, August 21, 2009, Asia-Plus -- By Drug Control Agency (DCA) director’s order Colonel Farhod Sadulloyev, who had previously headed the DCA internal security department, was appointed the chief of the DCA staff, according to the CA press service.
Sadulloyev replaced Colonel Fakhriddin Jonmahmadov, who was dismissed in connection with transfer to other job.
Jonmahmadov will serve as analyst with Central Asian Regional Information and Coordination Center (CARICC) for combating the illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, the press service said.
CARICC was established under the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on sub-regional drug control cooperation dated May 4 1996 (Tashkent, Uzbekistan) between Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
