DUSHANBE, September 15, 2009, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament considered a bill on the state language of Tajikistan at a September 14 meeting presided over by its speaker, Saydullo Khairulloyev.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board also considered amendments to the laws on power engineering, precious metals and precious stones, holidays and the national budget.
The board also discussed draft laws on amendments to the country’s constitutional laws on the government and local autonomous bodies.
Besides, the board considered the issue of calling of the sixth session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the third convocation, the spokesman said.
