DUSHANBE, November 29, Asia-Plus -- Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev introduced a number of staff changes at a November 28 meeting of the Dushanbe mayor’s office.
Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office, says Munim Kholiqov was appointed to head the Dushanbe antimonopoly agency.
The director of the Dushanbe zoo and the director of the Peoples’ Friendship Amusement Park were dismissed.
The meeting considered issues related to providing the population with passenger transport services and communal services.
Deputy Mayor, Abdulkhair Oyev, was reprimanded for failing to ensure proper functioning of the public transport.
The mayor demanded at the meeting that relevant municipal agencies jointly with the Dushanbe migration service should establish the exact number of residents of Dushanbe being outside the country for seasonal work until December 30 and provide them with jobs in Dushanbe in accordance with their professional skills, the spokesman said.
