DUSHANBE, June 24, 2013, Asia-Plus -- The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower house (Majlisi Namoyandagon) considered the issue of ratification of the agreement between Tajikistan and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on rehabilitation and development of water supply systems of cities in northern and southern Tajikistan at a June 24 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker, Shukurjon Zuhurov.
Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, says the board also considered amendments proposed by the government to the country’s laws on prosecutors, migration, and insurance activities.
All these issues will be discussed at the next session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon that will take place on June 26, Sultonov said.
