DUSHANBE, February 22, 2014, Asia-Plus – By president’s decree Amirjon Ubaidulloyev, the second son of Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, who is also Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper house of parliament), was appointed to an executive position in President’s Office, according to the presidential press center.
However, the presidential press center did not say what position Amirjon Ubaidulloyev was appointed to.
Amirjon Ubaidulloyev had previously served as Tajikistan’s representative to the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
We will recall that Ubaidulloyev’s eldest son, Jamoliddin Ubaidulloyev, serves as the head of the MFA Department for International Organizations.
Meanwhile, Barno Saidvaliyeva, Fayziddin Sayfulloyev, Qahhor Oymatov, Gulizor Rasoulova, Mohammad Habibov, Adhamjon Mirsaidov and Nodir Mirzoyev were also appointed to executive positions in President’s Executive Office.
Sharif Sami, formerly Mayor of Qurghon Teppa (Khatlon province), was appointed to head the Directorate for the Roghun Dam’s Flooding Zone.
Fayzali Mirzoaliyev appointed Deputy Director General of Tojiksughurta (Tajik state-controlled insurance company), Mirzosafar Nazriyev was appointed to the head the Center for Coordination of the Social Infrastructure rehabilitation and Development Projects, and Numon Abdujabborov was appointed Secretary of the Consultative Council on Improvement of the Investment Climate under the President of Tajikistan.
