DUSHANBE, June 12, 2014, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmon today had telephone conversations with heads of Kulob, Sarband, Khuroson, Yovon, Farkhor, Hamadoni, and Vose to discuss the implementation of his instructions on taking preparations to carry out wheat harvesting campaign as well as produce fruits and vegetables, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
The district administrators also reported to the president on implementation of their budgets over the first five months of this year.
During the conversations, the president reportedly pointed to the necessity of rational use of lands, rehabilitation of roads, and enhancement of state of social facilities, including schools, hospitals and aid stations. Rahmon also ordered the district administrators to take measures launch new enterprises and create new jobs.
