In a report on the implementation of the city budget released at a session of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis), Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev said yesterday that 80 percent comes from the income taxes paid by individual entrepreneurs, and the rest from other sources, according to the Dushanbe administration press center.

71 industrial enterprises that have been launched in Dushanbe this year have created 2,826 new jobs, the mayor noted.
An average monthly wage this year in Dushanbe has been 1,589 somoni (about US$200.00 at the official rate). Compared to the last year, the average monthly wage has reportedly risen 6.5 percent this year. In 2015, the average monthly wage in Dushanbe amounted to 1,492 somoni.
