On Monday March 6, U.S. Ambassador to Tajikistan Elisabeth Millard met with the new mayor of Dushanbe Rustam Emomali to discuss areas of mutual interest and cooperation, including activities of the Dushanbe-Boulder Sister Cities partnership at the mayor’s new office, the former presidential palace.
Both parties noted the importance of this Dushanbe-Boulder Sister Cities partnership and stated their committed to future cooperation in this area.
