Rolling blackouts have been resumed in some areas of Tajik capital and twelve streets and three neighborhoods in Dushanbe will be left without electricity for seven hours today in connection with routine maintenance work on power stations in these areas, according to the Dushanbe electricity supply network.

“Today, electricity supply will be cut off to Sakhbo, Sari Osiyo, Pionerskaya, Moyonsho Nazarshoyev, Titov, Zahmatobod, Alexander Matrosov, Gastello, Yesenin, Julius Fučík, Afzali and Karine Mane streets  from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm in connection with routine maintenance work,” an official source at the Dushanbe electricity supply network told Asia-Plus in an interview.

“Besides, electricity supply will be cut off to Avul, Chorteppa and Energetik neighborhoods,” the source added.
